As a motorcyclist, I travel A LOT.🏍️🌋🏖️🏞️ Every road trip makes me a stronger person, mentally and physically. 💪🏽
Often, the weather takes a turn for the worse and I'm left in the middle of nowhere, looking for a place to stay.🌪️😞And then comes the trouble... Quizzical faces and a barrage of questions waiting to welcome me, whenever I go! 🤔🤨
Every time I have to check-in to a hotel by myself, I get my fair share "Is everything ok at home. Where are you going?", "Do your parents know you're alone on the road?", "Is someone joining you later in the room?"😠😠
I'm sure nobody dare ask me my life history, had I come in a sari with my husband, a mangalsutra in the neck to prove that this is legit. And I'm not insinuating that this is just a horror, solo women travellers face.
